Dash Diet

DASH stands for Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension. Hypertension is the medical term for High Blood Pressure.

High Blood Pressure is often called The Silent Killer. This is because, in a majority of cases, there are no symptoms.

Most people don't know they have it until they have their blood pressure checked on a routine visit to their doctor.

Hypertension, however, has a devastating impact not only on the cardiovascular system, but also on the brain, liver, kidneys, and many other organs.

The DASH Diet, as described online and in books, is very generalized. It is, however, very similar to other diets that will be fleshed out herein.
